I hassled a friend of mine until they wrote the following so that I didn't have to pretend not to be writing about myself in the third person:

Maggy Adeleye is a New York-based singer-songwriter whose fingerpicked acoustic guitar melodies and lush vocals bring life to charming and soulful modern folk-pop songs.

Whether in quiet lamentations on loss or rousing bursts of defiance, her songs reflect hope, loss, and joy.

Maggy has played guitar and written music since age 13. She previously lived in Houston and Los Angeles before relocating to New York City in 2017.
Maggy is also a writer of things that aren't songs--in addition to social justice issues, she often writes about her experiences living with both endometriosis and adenomyosis.
She's currently beginning stages of forming a nonprofit organization to amplify the voices of and provide practical assistance for women+ with debilitating but underdiagnosed and under-researched chronic health conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, and PCOS.
